Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect the information you give us so we can build and run your website and bill you for it. We don’t sell your information, we don’t rent it, and we don’t run creepy ad tracking. That’s the whole philosophy — the details below just spell it out.

Who we are

CrewSite (“we,” “us”) operates crewsitehq.com and provides website design, hosting, and management services for trade contractors. If you have any question about this policy, email [email protected].

What we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, business name, trade, phone number, email address, current website, and anything you send us for your site — photos, service descriptions, prices, testimonials.
  • Billing information: handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Basic site analytics: anonymous, aggregate visit counts on crewsitehq.com and on customer sites (page views, referral sources, device type). We use privacy-respecting analytics and do not build profiles of individual visitors.
  • Correspondence: emails and texts you send us, so we can act on your edit requests and keep a record of what you asked for.

How we use it

  • To build, host, update, and support your website.
  • To bill you for your subscription.
  • To send you your monthly report and service-related emails (a preview is ready, an edit is live, an invoice is due).
  • To respond when you contact us.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not send marketing email blasts to your customers. Your customer leads from quote-request forms go to you, and only you.

Who we share it with

Only service providers we need to run the business — our hosting provider, payment processor, and email service — and only the minimum they need to do their jobs. Each is bound by its own privacy obligations. We’ll also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it (a valid subpoena, not a fishing trip).

Quote-request forms on customer sites

When someone fills out a quote form on a website we manage for a contractor, that information belongs to the contractor and is delivered to them. We store it only as needed to deliver it reliably, and we never use it for our own marketing.

Cookies

crewsitehq.com uses only what’s needed to function — no third-party advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers. If we ever add anything that requires consent, we’ll ask first.

How long we keep things

Account and billing records for as long as you’re a customer, plus what tax and accounting law requires. Your website content is yours; when you leave, we hand it over and delete our working copies within 90 days, except backups that age out on their own schedule.

Your rights

You can ask us anytime to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (except what we’re legally required to keep). Email [email protected] and we’ll handle it within 30 days — usually much faster.

Security

All sites we host use SSL/TLS encryption. Access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to serve you. No system is perfect, but if a breach ever affects your information, we’ll tell you promptly and plainly.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll email you before it takes effect. The “last updated” date at the top always tells you when it last changed.
